I’m running for City Councillor with a practical plan to get Kanata moving, grow our technology economy, build homes with infrastructure, keep taxes in check and protect what makes this community home.
Why I’m running
Roads, transit, parks and City services need to keep up with it.
Too often, homes and businesses arrive before the infrastructure needed to support them. City Hall needs to plan growth properly, while respecting the people who already live here and the tax dollars they contribute.
I’m running because I think we can do better: build complete communities, scrutinize spending and deal with the everyday issues municipal government is supposed to get right.

Priorities
Kanata was built by people who thought ahead. The next four years should be about doing that again. Growth is coming, and our job is to make it work: infrastructure before gridlock, transit that can compete with driving, a technology district that becomes Canada's tech capital, more homes in sensible places, and City spending that delivers measurable value.
Make Stage 3 LRT to Kanata a committed, funded project, improve transit now, advance the March Road rapid-transit corridor, and add road capacity where growth actually requires it.
Kanata North already has Canada's largest technology park. The next step is a stronger economic centre with more investment, more jobs, more housing, and more places to eat, meet and spend time after work.
Ottawa needs more housing, but new residents should not wait a decade for the roads, transit, stormwater systems, parks and services their neighbourhoods require.
I will oppose ordinary property-tax increases above inflation and demand better value from the billions the City already spends. The goal is not arbitrary cuts, it is better results per taxpayer dollar.
Growth should strengthen Kanata, not erase what people moved here for. That means protecting meaningful greenspace, fixing infrastructure risks, maintaining parks and mature trees, and keeping neighbourhoods safe.
