How the campaign uses your information
If you contact the Rob Millan campaign, we use the information you provide to respond to your message or follow up on the request you selected.
Form submissions may be processed by our form service provider and delivered to the campaign inbox. We do not sell your personal information. We keep it only as long as it is reasonably needed for campaign communication and record-keeping obligations.
If you tick “Send me occasional updates about Kanata North,” we add your name and email to a mailing list that is kept separately from contact-form messages and used only to send occasional updates from Rob. Every update will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask to be removed at any time by emailing rob@robmillan.ca.
If you contributed to the campaign, we use your name, address, contact details and contribution information to verify eligibility, issue a receipt and meet campaign finance record-keeping and reporting requirements. Information about contributors may be publicly disclosed as required by election law. Donation records must be retained for the legally required period.
You may ask to access, correct or remove the personal information you submitted by emailing rob@robmillan.ca.
We use Plausible Analytics to understand overall website traffic, including pages visited, referral sources, device types and approximate visitor locations. We also count clicks on key site links, form starts and submission attempts. These events use fixed labels for the action, link location and selected contact category. Plausible does not use cookies or store raw IP addresses, and does not track visitors across websites. We do not send your name, email, phone number, address, message text or donor details to Plausible. Read Plausible's data policy.
